I want to thank MMA for giving boxing the jolt in the ass it needed to
wake up and bring back the sport. I've noticed that with a few exceptions that the last 2 years the big fights have been happening more often and with less trouble than before. 2007 will have the most
BIG fights than i can remember in the last 8-10 years and it seems it's
only getting better. And this being an international improvement as well. Boxing is finally coming together globally and I for one couldn't
be happier. To all my fellow pundits and afficianados. CHEERS!!
It's great to be a fight fan again!

I think it's the increasing number of paying boxing fans we should be thankful for.

As boring as the PBF-Hoya fight was---I really believe thats what ultimately gave boxing the shot in the arm. I mean they marketed it months and months beforehand so the hype was there--only needed the fans to show up-and they did. I think that helped alot more than the MMA. JMO.

MMA had a lot to do with it. It helped give boxing a kick in the ass. Competition between the 2 makes each sport step its game up to attract people to it.
