Yeah overall a good night. Sometimes the big fights disappoint, this one didn't at all.

The significance of this fight makes it better than Vargas-Salido for me anyways. This was high level stuff.

they both went for it .. no running and holding and protecting .. they laid it all out on the line .. and the crowd repayed with a huge reaction

 

Magnificent fight. Easy FOTY for me.

Salido Vargas was gruelling, grinding. This was more intense and explosive.

Bit of a shame the 12th sorta fizzed out as they kept falling in on each other, but you can't have everything.

Don't rematch immediately though please. Take out Garcia first. Maybe Brook will have moved up by then too.

Exactly. Two evenly matched quality fighters with the ***** to not give any ground. Fights like this are what boxing is about, not all these business structured a side b side showcase money grabs.
