I haven't seen the show yet (no satalites allowed on my flat's exteriors walls and not in a cable area), was he as bad as Claude on his few Setanta outings?

Robin Ried was not as bad as I thought. Maybe I am being old fashioned but he should have at least been wearing a collared shirt.

I think marketing costs so much and unless you see the returns then it just eats away at your money.

Primetime should still be setting up youtube, facebook, twitter pages, point of contact of every forum and just try to get word of mouth. At least some small adverts for boxing news etc

Went to a BBQ saturday with mates from school to watch the cups semi and el classico. we were talking about Mayweather vs Pacquiao (i didnt start the convo) and i said Khan is fighting tonight none of them had a clue.

Went out after the barca game with another group of mates and none of them new Khan has a fight.

Only one mate mentioned it to me and he is a gambling addict and wanted to no a good bet.

    Nobody new about it.

Back to thread, primetime i really want you to work and become a boxing station aswell as a profitable business, but charging £15 for shocker like this will only alienate you as a greedy money making channel and folks will just stop paying. We need something like a fight a month and as many domestic fights as possible. I cannot see why you dont link up with promoters to schedule a friday fight night as sky have now opened a slot there for you! you could charge a nominal £5 per month and give some sort of reward scheme where you get a discount for other popular and higher end cards.

For example a boxing fans season ticket; 2/3 friday fight night each month and charge £50 for year this would qualify as some sort of subscription but different in the respect that a Khan ppv could be sold to us for £7-10? but to casuals who only fancy a one-off fight like last saturday £15. That way you slowly build your customer base from the public, get a commercial venue customer base (pubs etc) and then you recieve a flowing income stream and also building up your customer base to bigger levels, p.r would boom also! all the time your making this cash you can further your scope and horizons.
