I'm a canelo fan but he has not beaten any legit 154 lb fighter. he doesn't deserve a fight yet.

Thread makes no sense in my opinion. Floyd fights whoever he wants. What did Canelo do to make Mayweather even think about giving him the pay-day? The crazy thing is Canelo thinks for some reason that he has it like Floyd. Please!!!

it's better for floyd to lose to alvarez than to pacquiao.

therefore, we will likely see floyd-sergio first before pac-mayweather.

trout did nothing against cotto that would indicate he could beat a heavier, stronger, younger, hungrier fighter in alvarez. he looked mediocre against a much smaller opponent and won because of his superior strength and reach.

Alvarez has cement in his shoes. How often have you seen Alvarez close distance quickly with adept footwork? Short answer, he doesn't.

He puts his punches together amazingly, but he starts his offense off of counters mainly. He's always waiting. Someone like Trout, who moves, works off the jab and throws punches the whole round is a nightmare for your boyfriend.

Not saying that Canelo couldn't catch him and hurt him, but from a style point of view, it's a terrible fight for Alverez.

    You troll.

Alvarez has limited experience against southpaws and isn't hard to hit. He won a vacant title yet hasn't defended it against even contender level opposition, instead opting to fight has beens and blown up fighters.

Dangerous fight for Mayweather, better to take it now than later on.
