Did Vitali show Lewis any respect after he was beaten? No, he stormed around the ring thumping his chest like he won the fight.
What about all the money Charr spent on himself training to fight for the world title only to cheated out of a fair fight by Vitalis doctors.
What about Stervine's career being put on hold because Vitali was too vain and greedy to give up the title.
What about forcing Danny Williams shave off his religious beard.
What about shaking down and intermediating Wlads opponents in their locker before the fight.

Sad this could be the end, there were a few good fights still left in him. Vitali has been an incredible champion and never in a dull fight, rarely losing a round in his entire career.

I think mentioning the Rahman situation was good, it was an important fight at the time which may have gotten Vitali some overdue respect. A big KO win over a former champion would have been good. Vitali didn't really come out in a positive light in that whole mess. Legitimate injury or not.

Haye is skilled and the fight was tactical but he flapped his mouth so much and took 0 chances. None. It really made him look bad, the toe excuse made him look far worse. Arreola is good, tough he has come up short in his biggest fights but he tries and he still has big fights in his sights so he can really up his standing with another quality win.

Vitali has some decent wins and his fight with Lewis will forever remain a hot topic. He was a very hard fighter to beat, I'll say that for him.
Where he'll go down in history remains to be seen. The irony is though, that the guy who holds him back legacy-wise is his brother, who overshadowed him.
But I prefer Vitali to Wlad.

A wonderful champion would not lose against the ONLY somewhat top level competition he fought (38 shot past prime worst shape of Lennox Lewis). None of vitalis wins are more impressive than C level Sam Peter. D level in any competitive era.
