On a non-boxing related note, as I've never seen this fighter... taking valium AND ambien together is not a good idea. Regardless of how it MIGHT effect you the next day (it really shouldn't though, ambien and valium only last a few hours!), mixing the two, especially taking a double dose of one of them is very dangerous. In fact mixing ambien with valium is worse than just taking more valium, or more ambien. They potentiate each other I think, which is to say they make each other stronger, and its hard to gauge how much the effect of this will be. There is a fine line between a good night of sleep, and not waking up at all, or at the very least being very sick.

Hate to say it but you were never going to get a decision over Flores. You had to win by KO as evident by that one judges card, 118-110. How do you give a kid that's getting booed out of the ring and running for his life 8rds? I thought you won the fight 7-5.

    Thanks for posting, Mr. Wilson.

To be honest I was rooting for Flores, only because I bet on him to win by decision. I knew you'd be pressing the fight and have a proven chin, there's no way he'd stop you.

I had you losing a close fight, but you won many fans and a lot of respect. We'd all like to see you back in action, I'll gladly bet you as the underdog next time :)

    Good luck champ.

Good fight, I thought it could've gone either way. I would love to see Dingt ake a rematch with this guy back on ESPN, and KO him this time!

Unfortunately with boxing politics I knew and I suspect Ding knew that he had to KO this guy to win. Or atleast put him on the canvas two or three times. Flores is an undefeated prospect and with the way boxing is I just knew Ding wouldn't get a fair shake. It was a close fight, but you have to give the close rounds to the aggressor, especially when his opponent is not just moving, but actually running and doing nothing on offense but the occasional jab off the back foot. But thats boxing for you.

Good luck Ding and for your own sake, use the jab to work your way in a little more and go to the body (including arms, shoulders, chest) when you get there.

Close fight, I'm not sure Flores deserved the Win:hey Certainly not 118-110:-( At the end? Flores was just surviving and fearful of you're power shots. That aside? Bj Flores isnt the top of the divsion:nono

Its good to hear that you feel frustrated and upset from this loss. BECAUSE you have to look at this fight and make some adjustments IF YOU REALLY WANT TO BE A CHAMPION! You were in it late, but allowing yourself an early disparity on the cards isnt gonna get it done. It's been you're MO. You can be out boxed by upper level guy's, but can they hold on? Not sure how much running you did in preparation, but you have to be throwing more THROUGH OUT.

You are a gifted puncher, but YOU MUST do a better job getting yourself in POSITION to land it. PLEASE JAB MORE!! Work harder at cutting the ring. Throwing you're jab more often can provide TIMING to disrupt you're opponents motion and clear the path to step in behind it. Flores did nothing sepctacular early yet you gave away rounds to his movement essentially. You have a hell of a package and COULD BE a nightmare for anyone. But unless you adjust the APPROACH a little? It's stacking the odds against yourself.

I want to see you be a Champion:yep

First Off..I never knew you posted on here , so this has nothing to do with being bias, but what I saw tonight was a challenger tucking his nuts in between his legs and ran all night from a champion. BJ had plenty of opportunity to counter and win the fight , but never attempted to make Ding pay for his mistakes. It was a close fight that I had it for Ding. I just don't see how the f##$ you win fights by running all over the place and barely throwing a punch (BJ).

Keep your head up Ding! I thought BJ deserved the nod, although 118-110 was a joke. I also thought that was a class act to congratulate him the way you did.

BJ Flores ran, you shoulda got the nod in a close fight.

It honestly was an easy fight to score, the fights that Flores jabbed and threw the right hand he won, the rounds he ran and only Ding landed, he lost.

Not a hard fight to score, anyone having Flores winning is high, or biased.

Why no body shots ding. Why...why...why?????? You are one hard headed son of a gun. You did not listen. LOL He was fighting scared and you let him off the hook. Loading up instead of cracking that body that was WIDEEE OPEN.

I finally just got to watch the fight and I had it the same..

I still support you Ding, a loss is nothing to worry about, just win the next one.

PS. My opinion is BJ ran more than he boxed, but did what he had to do to survive. Props and good luck to him.

    Ding, your still the man!

I had it a draw as well but the round where you had him running everywhere and almost out could of been a 10-8. He did nothing but run, didn't even engage.
