Personally I don't think Brian Peters and McCloskey's team would go for it if it was in Italy, there's no way Paul knocks him out so it would go down to a decision and I don't think Paul would get the decision over there no matter how well he boxed . It's possible ot win a decision in Italy, but only if your a come forward aggressive fighter and you beat the Italian half to death .
mcloskeys a good fighter, hes quite heavy handed, fast and accurate, good chance of winning european title.
This is a good point to remember, the Salita camp and his fans regard the fight against Willie as a big step up fight for him, Salita hasn't fought many fighters with Willie Limonds record. All the best Willie in November if that's when it's gonna go ahead, I think you can beat this guy. Do you reckon the extra couple months is a good thing for your preparation? NYC in November has a good Scottish type climate as well lol.

Hi Willie, good luck in your fight with Salita. Quick question, Arthur looked great against yourself a few years ago but then got knocked out by Gomez soon after. Do you think Arthur got complacent or was Gomez just inspired? I think if Arthur treated him with the same respect he treated you then he would have easily beaten Gomez.

As an Englishman I have not cheered a Scot on as much as I did Limond against Khan since Niall Mackenzie in the British motorcycle GP in 1989 at Donington. I was screaming for you to finish him when you put him down. Had you won that fight I would have gone out and bought every Scot I met in my local a drink for the next twelve months.
