    Disappointing the fight has been postponed but hopefully it will have some benefits - extra time to study Salita and get more preparation in, etc. Would help to have a date to focus on though so hope its gets sorted soon.

    alright willie. i remember watching ya fight with khan in the pub-great fight,one of th best domestic bouts i have seen 4 ages. good luck against salita mate,great to have some fighters on here keeping us informed of how they are doin...get this win and ur right back in the mix

    To me, Willie will always be the first man to have beaten Amir Khan - if it wasn't for the ref forgetting what number came after 7 the fight would have been waved off.

    Not many guys can take a knee at 7/8 and get away with it - he was still in Disneyland for the next minute or so, and showed great heart to come through, but the count was very slow indeed.

    Looking at Salita's previous fights, are there any names that particularly impress you?

    Good point, great to hear from boxers. All I am used to is a drunken ramble from Carl Johanneson!

    He is a great lad though, pleasure to have met him a few times.
