    Thanks TITO

You have to admit, What a Warrior Trinidad had been through his entire career. I know I predicted Tito to win but I had to admit that this is the only boxer in the world for which I cannot be very objective, its only that I cannot go against him never, even when I knew it was nearly impossible him to win at that weight and after two year and a half layoff, no matter who was his opponent.

Trinidad fights EVERYBODY at all the weight classes he had been. You have to respect him for everything he made at the ring, especially for keeping trying in his toughest fights, even in the defeats.

Anyone who knows boxing knows that Tito’s real natural weight was 154. I think that at this weight (154) he can defeat any boxer in boxing history. But, even that, he went to 160 and to 170 to fight the best boxers of this era and never quit, even when everyone at those weights was bigger and stronger than him.

For those that are "fans" of De la Hoya, com’on , he fights only for the money and does not take risks at this time of his career. Do you think that he will stand for 12 rounds with Hopkins, Winky and Roy Jones jr. In fact, he and Hopkins make a false fight and when De la Hoya knew he cannot move Hopkins, went to the floor in one of the worst fakes in boxing history.

Tito could had stayed on the floor yesterday or could had quit on his corner but he doesn’t, he continues trying until the end, just it was impossible for him to do anything more.

THE FIGHT: It was a good fight. Both demonstrate that had to be retire. Tito doesn’t belong to this weight (his best was at 154) and doesn’t had the reflexes and speed to continue boxing. Even though, he made a good fight, more than many "experts" expected. His body work was very good. It was just that in one moment he knew he cannot move Jones and that taking many risks can make him going KO, but even though, he continue fighting.

Tito had to retire for the last time. He doesn't need the money nor the risks of continue boxing. And please, don't make another payday for De la Hoya, even though I think that at 160 Tito will win.

For Roy Jones, lets be real, he cannot KO a Welterweight and wants to fight Calzaghe. Calzaghe would murder Jones, Hopkins and Tito in the same night. Roy had to retire also.

Finally, THANKS again TITO for all your entire career and for what you represent for PUERTO RICO. For those who talk bad about him, remember his pass through 147 and 154, he was a very good boxer and one of the bests punchers in boxing history.

I hope he comes back again. I feel at middleweight, he can become champion again. He looked good last night. I felt he was just too small.

I'd still like to see ODLH-Trinidad II at 170... gets paid and beats up the golden fishnets.

Though I feel Calzaghe could out work Jones there is no way in hell he knocks out Jones ...I think it be an entertaining fight but it would go to the cards ..

only really 1 fight i've ever been critical of his fighting spirit.

    that was the winky fight.

i thought he let himself down that night and didn't really dig as deep as he could have.

    much respect to tito. :good

Yes, Tito did a good job on this fight and even though he lost the fight, he didn't quit like others would do. Those are some very nice words and I'm with you a 100%, he's the best 154 boxer ever. I really wish for him the best and to retire like a man who fought only the best. That's Tito for PR, pure heart. Saludos
