WTF, now anyone who retires before the age of 43 is going to get criticised?

Hopefully Hopkins will follow and we can all forget his 3 punches a round and Ruiz hugging style. :hi:

Firstly, Showtime no longer gives out long term contracts at all. They stopped 3 years ago, so there is no HBO-SHO problem anymore. Get with the program. :patsch

Secondly, Dawson already fought in the UK on the Lacy bill, and called out Joe in his own backyard.

Lacy was garbage and Kessler is average.

Between the two of them, who is the best fighter they have defeated?

A 36 year old Marcus beyer? Or Librado Bumdrade? :think

Compare that to an IBF champion in Tarver or a only slightly weight drained WBC champ in Adamek.

Dawson is proven, that is the difference.

Eubank also lost to Calzaghe , just as credible as Dawsons victory over ''Tarver'' except Eubank was a better fighter :)

Tarver lolllllllllllll since when has Tarver been great, he got whooped by Hopkins, battered by Johnson , and lost to Taylor... Adamek won a vacant title, big deal, and lets face it, if Hopkins really beat Calzaghe as some say, Dawson was Ko'ed by Johnson :)

Kessler will deal with this new hype job, Joe can retire into legend status.

Didn't Eubank have an 8 day training camp for that fight? Truly, what an accomplishment. :rofl

Kessler the robot will get his ears boxed off by Dawson. It is more likely however that he stays in Denmark for the next little while, as he's been doing, while Dawson continues to establish P4P status for himself.

Kessler went to Cardiff to fight Calzaghe. Sydney to fight Mundine.

'Not Bad' Chad doesn't have a passport, and he doesn't really know what a 'Romania' is, except it's a scary place that his mum told him to stay away from.

Right, he fought world champions in Adamek and Tarver, but is scared of his unknown Romanian mandatory.

Calzaghe meanwhile has defeated many unknowns from impoverished sides of the world, showing himself to be a true champion.
