Pac hates the counters? Really? Oh my, a boxer hating getting countered, that's news to me. :rofl Marquez might have won the majority of the rounds but he got hit a lot too, neither dominated either. But Pac hit harder and JMM was hurt much worse than Pac ever was, if you can't admit that, then :rofl. I'm not saying who won what, to me it doesn't really matter, two very close fights. I do laugh when people say "what Marquez did to him" wtf did he do? Get his ass whipped and hurt bad? They both whipped each other.
right, JMM is only fighting for money but Pac is fighting shot fighters just for legacy ****ing *******s
He can definitely outbox Pac, although Pac is a better boxer now and more patient, he also has a right hook, which was non-existant back then. How often in Pac's most recent fights have you seen him launching at people with the left straight only like he did for the first round against Marquez? Not that many. Pac now hits harder too, which was the equalizer for him (well power AND speed), this time, he will go down, and won't get back up.
When did I say that? Pac might be guilty of the same too. It's just you JMM fangirls always acting like JMM is so much better than that and so brave. What, Diaz twice and Katsidis? Tailor made for him, and now he's fighting a fighter that is more shot than ANYONE Pac's fought. :rofl Pac's resume shits on the **** drinker's.
Are you saying that Pacquiao and Marquez would be competitive at 140-147? Have you been following Marquez lately? Although, he's winning at 135, he's still getting hit a lot. Katsidis floored him and Diaz, who similarly is a volume puncher like Pac, gave him trouble. If Pacquiao beats the **** out of Marquez at 140 or 147, you'll accuse Pacquiao of taking cheating Marquez for making him fight at 140/147.
If memory serves, Pac had an educated right hand, so to speak, by the time of their second fight. Roach said Manny was a complete fighter at that time, as well, and that he was no longer a one handed fighter. Now, of course, he has improved on it more, since then. But, the right hand was there, at that time. Marquez was not letting him use it, as freely as his more recent, slower, less skilled, and flat-footed opposition. Pac can do what he wants against the opponents he's chosen, since moving up, because, he is faster, has more stamina, and the power to make them respect his onslaught. But, he is not knocking these guys out (except Hatton) he is beating them up...because he is hitting them, A LOT...and they don't have the defensive prowess and all around skill set to prevent that, while launching their own offense. Pac hits harder now...but, JMMs recuperative powers will be carried up with him, and may even improve as well, with the added muscle. Floyd hit JMM flush with a lunging left hook, with his bodyweight behind the shot, which put him on the canvas. But, he got right back up, and continued fighting. Pac will not get JMM out of there with one shot. He can't count on that. I don't see why so many people put stake in that.
Cmon Berto Cant sell!! ASk any casual fans, Ask who's Mosley 1st, then ask if they know Berto. Let's see how much u got? Pac History with JMM was on the Lighter weights. JMM Tried 147 but failed Bigtime and retreat back at 135 like a dog who met his match. Pac's annihilating welters!!! JMM doesnt even have one win at welter. It's JMM's cowardness why he cant have the fight with Pac. If after PBF loss he tired to get any of 140 pounders or any of the welters, then he could have the Pac fight already. LOok when Pac failed to beat MOrales the 1st time, he didnt go back at 126. He stayed at 130 and proved he's the best on his rematches!!
I already told you that the Berto fight wouldn't sell more, but I phrased it wrong my bad. I meant they can hype it more because of the undefeated slick african amercian angle, but it won't sell more than Mosley. You can say what you want about Marquez, but they can sell and justify the fight better than Mosley fight. This is how I see it. Pacquiao/Marquez does around the same or more as Mayweather/Pacquiao Pacquiao/Mosley does less than 1,400,000 for sure and probably less than Margarito fight
IMO JMM should have accepted whatever Pac was willing to give. JMM only has himself to blame, when youre getting a shot at the p4p king, the fighter of the decade, a huge mainstream box office fight, and the biggest fight for your legacy at this point that you can possibly have, and you have a REAL shot at winning, you do what it takes to make the fight. Judah got low balled in the Spinks rematch, with them only offering him a CRAZY 100k or around there, thinking nobody would accept that. Judah said **** you, took the money and knocked spinks out to become welter champ, and raised his profile and paychecks. Thats how its done.
