Can anyone link me to such threads and users as I hardly ever see these?

 

fair play to them for coming on here but its only the guys like Bellew who gets involved in discussion about all boxing not just about themselves that should be applauded.

i agree about mr bellew. i've pm'd him about boxing matters and he comes across as a very decent human being as well as the good prospect that he is.

 

bellew gets involved, as does lord jeffro.

still nice when matthews, moore etc come on.

 

does **** me off when you get a fighters family member/trainer or friend come on and bang on about how there fighter could beat surgar ray leonard and how the afrobum they beat last week was a dangerous opponent.

Is that any different to a general boxing fan/follower.

If anything it gives CERTAIN people a ticket to go overboard and pull out there E-WARRIOR attitude.

yeh but when i talk about a fighter i have to use actual facts like there record and opinion put together from watching there fights.

they can come on and say "I watch him in the gym every day he is world class"......................course he is, thats why his promoter put him in with a guy no ones ever heard of in a 6 rounder last time.

 

Same as fight fans say the same stuff too Eg. he will do this, he will do that etc etc and they have usually looked at records and formed opinion also.

Anyways, whats a coach/trainer supposed to say ?

A coach/trainer can say this and it can be true yet the MANAGER may not think so, or is looking after there goldmine regarding the 6 rounder ya mentioned, aye ?

 

Using actual facts rather than supposition is something you seem unfamiliar with at times, Rob.
