Thanongsak Simsri vs Sergio 'Yoreme' Mendoza IBF 108 lbs the April 13th in Japan

It's official the Thai "KO Artist" / "Black Wolf" from the Greensuda boxing gym Thanongsak Simsri 39-1-0 (34KOs) will defend his IBF belt at 108 lbs (Light Flyweight) for the first time against the Mexican ranked number 1 by IBF Sergio 'Yoreme' Mendoza 27-0-0 (23KOs).

This will take place in Japan the April 13th probably in Korakuen Hall, Tokyo.

I think Sergio Alfonso Mendoza Cordova (Sergio 'Yoreme' Mendoza) is the most tough challenger for everyone in 108 lbs (Light Flyweight) . And I think the Thai have the style for to be knocked out by the Mexican.

'The body shots of this Mexican are heavy punches not sure that Thanongsak Simsri will take that during 12 rounds. And the Mexican is also very tall for the weight class.

To be honest I prefered that both champions from Thailand will make a unification fight... it's good that Thanongsak take a tough challenger and probably the best of the current 108 lbs. But if it's for lost his belt at the first defense...

 

Sivenathi Nontshinga beat Regie Suganob he is far better than the current Knockout CP Freshmart also.

Thanongsak Simsri have a controversial win against Cristian Araneta both are almost on the same level, Taniguchi too.
I'm probably sure Yuga Ozaki / Daiya Kira / Daniel Valladares are a way better than Cristian Araneta / Thanongsak Simsri and Masataka Taniguchi.

In any case I respect your opinion of course.

 

108 lbs (Light Flyweight) is going to be a Mexican weight classes such like Super Featherweight : Erik Badillo Mares, Sergio "Yoreme" Mendoza, Daniel Valladares, Elwin Soto, Gustavo Perez Alvarez, Luis Castillo, Ivan Garcia Balderas..

All of these Mexicans are really good of course Erik Badillo & Sergio "Yoreme" Mendoza are by far superior to the others.

The undercard of Thanongsak Simsri vs Sergio'Yoreme' Mendoza is pretty interesting :

- The return of Masanori Rikiishi Young brother of Masamichi Yabuki & former IBF World challenger Super Featherweight 16-2 (11KOs) vs the Filipino Lito Badenas 8-2 (7KOs) in a 8 rounds in Lightweight.

- The young Japanese talent southpaw Kazuma Aratake 1-1 (1KO) from Ohashi Gym in Yokohama (the same boxing gym than the Inoue brothers and Yoshiki Takei) will make his comeback after his defeat by TKO against the unknown Issa Sakata. The opponent is not known yet. For his first professional Kazuma Aratake make a amazing pro debut with a win by stoppage in 2nd rounds against Kitidech Hirunsuk the experimented Thai boxer who is currently the ABF Super Flyweight champion and is a boxer of Petchyindee.

- One of the best Minimumweight (105 lbs) Takero Kitano 9-1-1 (4KOs) will be against the Filipino Kurt John Pabular 8-1 (5KOs), this will be a southpaws war at Minimumweight (105 lbs) in a 8 rounds.


- The young brother of Jin Sasaki, Kaku Sasaki 7-0 (4KOs) undefeated will be against the undefeated South Korean boxer Tae Gyun Yun 3-0-1 (1KO) from Busan in a 6 rounds in Middleweight.

 

I would have preferred a rematch between Angel Acosta and Elwin Soto, the first fight was amazing.

Angel Acosta is a former champion whose career has been on the decline. Nevertheless, he is underestimated; this is one of Kosei Tanaka's best victories in his career.
