British champion more like. soon to be gatekeeper and journeyman,he will get beat off degale when a rematch happens then its all downhill.
Nah, bags of talent and desire. He'll come again, he'll be world champion in the next 12 months in my opinion.
Not a chance, DeGale will be world champion before him. any announcement on what channel his next fight will be on?
I don't know if George is going to cut it personally I think the first Froch fight might end up being his best career performance and that wasn't enough to get the job done..that was a cartoon KO against Froch in part 2 as well one that a truly top fighter shouldn't have been caught with IMO. Degale would Beat him in a rematch as well now. Best chance he has is through the WBO Abraham is still dangerous but pretty worn out so Groves can hopefully outbox him and keep his chin down.
I struggle to understand the vitriol against boxers showed by some so called fans on this message boards. Ryan the Liar - You are a dickhead, and I am not even a George Groves fan
True, but he still beats the feather fisted slapper Degale everytime (as he has proven twice already).
I agree he does. I think thats down to fitness, when he gets tired he loses composure and fights on instinct , or as you say unravels. Never a good idea against a decent opponent. Cant ever see Degale making him lose composure or making him unravel though, just think Groves has his measure.
including their exceptionally close 1st fight? on topic, he looked fragile and gassy versus froch, but given toughness and stamina are carl's 2 strongest attributes, he may just be saint's kryptonite.
He slipped up on an iFL interview with Kugan that it'll be on Sky, hasn't been confirmed though I don't think. He beats Degale again should they meet.
