the refereeing was terribe in that de gale fight. that cuban was not trying to box. amateur boxing really has gone down the drain since the early 1990's
Degale wasn't helping matters either. A few times he just walked into the Cuban with his arms in the air.
I agree, he was walking forward (some of the time) - its not like he was trying to pull away - or being pulled forward.

Biting should have no place in boxing. It's not like holding, headbutting and low lows which can sometimes be accidental. You shouldn't simply lose a point or two for biting. It has to be instant disqualification.
Yes they did. I can only imagine that they thought the cuban shoud have won. But in reality he was holding too much and he bit James which IMO he should have been dq'd for.
Fair go about the biting. I mean, if you guys didn't have so malnourished teeth and were capable of taking a chunk out of something more solid than fairy bread, then it'd be right up your alley to go around biting opposition.
