Just watched it for the 2nd time, HOLY **** WHAT A GOOD FIGHT.

The first half was complete back and forth action and superb boxing from both guys. Those who say that cotto was damaged goods, I think is bull****. The first half of the fight he looked as fast and sharp as he's ever been.

He takes a HORRENDOUS beating in this fight. Even worse then Margarito by a huge margin. Those who say he quit need to stfu. They should have stopped the fight after Round 9, there was NO point in continuing after that. He has a lot of heart for going as long as he did.

Manny Pacquaio was brilliant. I can't believe how much he has improved over the years. His boxing skills are insanely good, his right hand is as good as his left, his instincts and reflexes are incredible.

His offensive arsenal is insane. He throws body shots, lead uppercuts, right hook counters, lead straight lefts, 4-5 punch combinations, punches from every angle imaginable. Incredible.

Cotto fought the very best fight he could have fought, but Manny was too good for him.

Round 4 = Round of the year.

This is best live fight I've seen in a long time. I felt privileged watching these two guys go at it. Both of them fought their hearts out and gave all they had.

    **

Manny Pacquaio is not human. I don't know what he is, but he isn't human. He walked through every single one of Cottos punches in this fight and didn't blink. The guy is one badass, scary mofo. If Floyd actually has the guts to take this fight, I wouldn't favor him by any stretch.

It was a very good fight although Floyd would not be in the same type of fight as Cotto was. Floyd is more defensive and would try and land his punches off his movement. Totally different fight. I still pick Floyd to win a decision if he has the guts to fight Pacman. Until the first bell rings, I am not sure that fight will happen.

Indeed a good fight. Kudos to both fighters. I guess MP is not a small fighter that doesn't deserve to be fighting in the WW division anymore like some people think.

floyd is more defensive, but if he fights Pac the way he fought Judah, he's getting KO'd no questions asked.

Good post and it's nice to see a bit of sense after the fight rather than the usual array of stupidity.

Pacquiao fought a perfect fight. I was stunned watching him walk down Cotto, movin his hands like "come here Cotto!" He looked scary as hell, ringside must have been amazing. Mayweather has to fight Pacquiao! That is going to be a hell of a fight. I don't care how good Mayweather is, Pacquiao has what it takes to win.

I think Mayweather would fight him the way he fought Baldimir but I think Manny will find a way thru the defense, he always does!!

the thing that makes fighting pac so difficult is that he does somthing diffrent every fight. this fight he wasnt as bouncy or in and out like DLH, he didnt fight hold and walk like that against hatton, he rope a dope like clottley and gassed him out he tried the same stuff he did against hatton but found out quickly that cotto was prepared for that and switched up game plans. lured him into a corner and circled around

Floyd fights southpaws different then orthodox fighters. It's harder to run and pot shot like he normally does against a southpaw because the same punches, like the lead left hook, don't work. He's got to rely on a straight right hand, and really fighting a more regular type of fight.

Like I said, if he fights Pac the way he fought Judah, which I think is very likely, he gets KO'd.

Best fight I have seen for a while, good action throughout with both fighters looking to mix it up. I was picking pac to win but did not expect Pac to end up being the one doing the chasing in this fight. Pac seems to eat fighters alive when they come at him, toe to toe nobody can live with him.
