You're right of course. I'm just saying that Hardy didn't show killer instinct in that fight and his takedowns weren't strong. I just think he's going to be outclassed by GSP - but who at 170 isn't outclassed by GSP at this point?

Yeah, I was a little disappointed that he didn't try and finish Swick. The takedowns I don't think he should have been trying anyway. He clearly had the beating of Swick standing.

And being outclassed by GSP is par for the course now. Hardy would have a punchers chance at best and even then, based on recent fights he wouldn't finish, even if he was able to hurt GSP and the chances of that are slim. I can hope though!!:bbb

It's just a bit of a joke; obviously it's the best thing to ever happen for his career to win this fight.

It's just pointing out that one of his "rewards" is having to fight an all time great who is likely going to demolish him, not that there is any shame in that.

Nobody actually belives he would be better off losing, this is a dream come true for him.

dan hardy great fighter but unfortunatley dont think he has a chance in hell against GSP

Im in agreement. Prop's to Hardy for a workmen like win but he's in over his head against GSP. In fact I'd go so far as to say I don't think he deserves a shot at GSP, I think the winner in UFC106 would be better placed to challenge GSP.

I understand that GSP needs a challenger but I think Johnson versus Hardy would be an amazing fight.

I liked his clinch work, unlike Rogan. By tying up he was preventing a guy known for quick KOs and Swickuilltines he was doing damage, consolidating it by clinching before Swick could make an impact on the judges and doing some good work as well.

Hardy is good, GSP is special.
