WTF? This might be the stupidest stupid post I've ever read. Even here. This post is full on moronic. Worse than that. It's detestable, but in a stupid way. I'm surprised it wasn't written in crayon.

This is one area where I hate boxing fans. If Tapia would have quit, people would go on calling him a quitter. Now, because the guy stayed in for so long, he had to be rushed to the trauma center. I hope he recovers quickly, but who the hell knows. The guy took a beating. Fans need to shut the hell up when it comes to a fighter deciding his fate. If a fighter in the future chooses to quit, none of you should go on criticizing them.

Here's the thing, he knew he was getting his ass handed to him and he didn't have the courage to say f uck it. The same people on here would have been calling him a quitter and a punk *****. A man don't need somebody else to tell him when his life is at stake and it's time to fold. Given the most recent tragedies in boxing his corner should have been aware of what could happen but they acted very irresponsible and should be reprimanded and sanctioned for that ****. Smogor, also should have stopped the fight earlier. The only man that did what he was supposed to do was Kirkland and he was the one who got booed. Fourth round should have been the last.

Forget the actual fight that free shot at the end was brutal, Smoger tried to stop the fight so half heartedly he coulda ruined the guys life

Tapia's scans came back negative and he's been released from hospital. Sensible precaution rather than the fore bearer of a life-changing injury.

    really,
your corner is there to help strategy AND most importantly for fighter safety, hard to blame the ref cause the corner was letting him come back out and he still was trying to defend himself and was never out on his feet until the end of the fight.

those last 2 shots right after the ref stepped in were bad man. the ref stepped in and tapia was being saved and knew he wanted that and completely relaxed then was drilled with and uppercut and a wicked left hook...

must be sucker punches because he stopped protecting himself and he was hit cleanly twice. oh ya AND that must prove kirkland has no power at all. he had a done fighter in front of him and laid into the unsuspecting tapia yet he was still almost standing..

this is how tons must feel if we treat all fighters relatively the same, right ?

Do you remember when Ortiz quit against Lopez and the **** talk that followed?
A broken jaw, yet still called a quitter.

Vitali Klitschko quit against Byrd and is still criticised even to this day.
He dammaged the rotator cuff in his shoulder, it is pretty much impossible to carry on fighting once you **** your rotator cuff in the middle of the fight.

The 2 examples above are less severe than taking multiple blows to the head. Brain injuries can't be healed or surgically repaired. As Floyd said "health comes first." Never criticise a fighter when they quit so that they can live to fight another day.

Tapia should sue his ****ing corner for attempted murder if he makes it out of the hospital unharmed. How can a corner possibly be so irresponsible? Best wishes to him.
