When I get confused stares from people when I say I love boxing, that I what I try to explain to them- Chavez was on the hand of a drubbing but one punch almost turned it round for him. Hollywood can't do boxing justice! No sport makes me feel as much tension and excitement as boxing. Wow. What a night.
I must admit i needed a reminder of why i love this sport and Martinez Chavez Jr gave me that , i really enjoyed that fight !!!
It was a night of wars really Maidana- Soto Karras was an absolute barnburner, Martinez- Beltran Jr was a war as well, Lopez was very game against Canelo but just way too small- He'll pick up a belt at 140 though, Macklin is back!, Chavez Martinez was the classic old man schooling the young kid sort of fight- but always kept you entertained even up till that amazing last round. One of the best nights of boxing in recent years!
