watch the willy pep round where he wins it by not throwing a punch. Put it on loop so you can watch it over and over. Then write a book on it and post it here. :good
Cmon atigerofold, we all love the pugilistic art of hit and not get hit but surely even an elitist like yourself enjoys a good slugfest everynow and then?
I have watched Pep looking more like Charlie Chaplin swaying in the breeze as the punches missed him and he retaliates; quite funny really, but he did prove his point. He took his chance and didnt get hit, but remember Cassius, he swayed once to often, and got dropped. The sport is rort with historic moments when the skill of one fighter fades, and then the opponent excells. Having more than a few tricks is essential. What is prime-essential, I think is having and utilising bpxing skills that will let you win without a beating, and come back a few times, and live a decent life after finishing with the sport.....these blokes will be standing on the backs of their heals, unable to speak, or being hired out as coat racks.
Rise above...thanks for your civil comments and not taking me too seriously.... I loved Roberto Duran, he could box and fight and knocked many out...I cheered when I saw Roberto going toe to toe.....but he had boxing skills. I like boxers who take the chance and go into toe to toe...because they usually have back up skills, like ducking, moving back, counter punching etc. These two blokes though, they just stand head to head, hook and uppercut, no cagey moves, and definitely without any protective strategies.....where is the skill, science or cageyness in that...its just mad bag bashing, based on chance and luck on the day...... I'll go home and put my bike away now......
Your comments will be lost on these neanderthals. I suggested Dib beats them as he is more skillful. Yet these guys think its absurd. I mean How could a guy with skills beat them? It's ridiculous for me to even suggest it. Considering Solido And Lopez are such wonderful boxers.
Robert garcia was asked if mikey would fight dib before salido. Robert replied " dib wont fight in the usa".
What has Garcia got to do with Solido and Lopez. He is more skillful than both of them. He would beat Solido just like Dib would.
Umm, the talk is that mikey might get a salido fight next....thats what it has to do with. Care to remind us all why the mikey garcia v dib fight didnt eventuate?
No idea, And i couldnt care less why it didnt happen. Maybe being the best spit bucket holder in the country. You can remind me?
US TV didnt want Dib on their screens after his marathon running effort vs Luevano & seeing footage of his (recent at the time) fine performance against Yamaguchi.:yep
Only thing that tainted this fight was Lopez interview after it with his story about gambling problems with the ref and he shouldnt have been allowed to ref the fight, pre mature stoppage etc, he should have given his opponent more respect and just admitted that the better man won on the night. Boxing dont need accusations like this but im pretty sure most fans wouldnt have paid to much attention to his claims. Even if the ref didnt stop it theres no way he was going to recover, his legs were gone.
Quick question homo, have you ever watched Dib fight or is the only time you have seen him in action when he spreads his ass cheeks for you?
