Dude literally just ran the whole night. Props to Ennis for displaying beautiful boxing ability but this **** is embarrassing to the sport. Who comes just to survive? You're supposed to fight smh.
BoxingIQ, you have a very low Boxing IQ. His defense was on point throughout and he was hitting and not getting hit all that much. Did he lose? Certainly, but he did more than enough to steal 3 rounds, possibly shade 2 more. Regardless, he laid out the blueprint to beat Ennis.
Yep exactly OP is acting like he pulled a Butler against Inoue. Karen actually engaged and stole a few rounds.
Not really, there have been far more defensive fighters than Karen tonight. Many Rigo fights for example Karen at least was actually throwing and landing power punches
Nope. he has a solid footwork and good chin, also Good stamina. Karen was game in the 12th round, actually throwing shots that Boots respected.
You're actually the worst poster on the forum, I've seen it a few times now, you are terrible. And i include the massive Fury fanboy in this assessment.
He was making a huge leap up in class fighting the power punching avoided athletic phenom boogeyman in their backyard where everything was stacked heavily against him and on a stage of that magnitude for the first time and he's a light puncher to boot. I can't really blame him too much for his negative tactics. He was brought in as the sacrificial lamb to the slaughter but you can see he's clearly a good fighter: Slick, skillful, great feet and movement and when he did let his hands go he had success almost everytime and he did enough t0 win a few rounds. Had he let his hands go a bit more it would've been kind of similar to Crawford's performance against Postol. I'm not saying he would've won but he kind of did box like Crawford did in that fight albeit even more negatively and letting his hands go less. Hard for Super Boots to look good against someone as slippery, elusive, skillful, and negative as that though and he'll look a lot better against other less slippery and negative styles
