Only worry is Eubank was fighting at 168 not so long ago and now he's expected to make 156. 12lbs is a lot. Also think he's stuck between styles a bit but hopefully he'll just let his hands go and chin the little rat.
Yeah Eubank look pretty dry making 160 and he can't have much more he can loose when you look at how he keeps himself. Gonna be extremely tough to hit 156 so might even the odds abit. Wonder if they will try get a rehydration clause. I hate those clauses so much when you consider the dangers involved making weight.
It may not make sense in regard to the respective weight difference, but this: this makes sense. As long as it's exciting whilst it lasts the rematch could generate another haul, even better if it's controversial in some way and controversy an big boxing events are no stranger to each other.
First sensible post on the thread. If you watch the Josh Taylor documentary and see what's involved in meeting his current fighting weight from being 2 stone over, imagine living the life (as Eubank seems to) but still having to knock off another 4-12 pounds? Also - I know Eddie is a businessman but what happened to all the hate on Eubank after they dicked around over the GGG contract? Hate only when it suits them...
Just seen on Instagram that Conor Benn and family are in the hotel next door to the one I’m going to tomorrow in Ibiza, hope they’ve cleared off by Sunday.
Win/win for Benn Lose/lose for Jr Jr will poleaxe him easily but won’t get any credit Made Williams look terrible even though it was supposedly a 50/50. From twitter this appears to be a 50/50 too lol Would Conor Benn be favoured against Williams? Difference between Benn and Williams is that Benn has a huge set of balls and will try to win despite getting a whooping. I only see brain damage for a kid that has a low intellectual ceiling lol Big move by Benn and it does show that he will fight anyone. Canelo at 168 and I have no doubt he would step up
