Great point you make there! Even if Floyd really thinks he would have beaten Ray Leonard, out of respect for the sport & great fighters, you would keep those comments to yourself.

Mayweather needs to engage his brain before his speaks. He does come out with some ridiculous comments.

Fancy coming out with those remarks to Leonard. Plenty of active, very good fighters would not have said that sort of thing to Leonard, even they felt they could have beaten him.

Mayweather is just trying to hype, and therefore sell the fight, the only way he knows how.
Its not working though.

He's not trying to intimidate Hatton, he doesnt need to, he's much much better, and knows it, and Hatton IMO knows it too.
