Good on the fellas for hava go but it was hard to watch, My misses walked in half way through the fight and summed it up pretty well " This is a bloody circus" were her exact words. And i had to agree
Anthony will probably fight the little man with the huge head in his next fight as a tune up for Pavlik.
Personally I think your post has more holes than swiss cheese. The promoter in question has pretty much been involved in boxing since being a teenager. I think if you knew him, you'd find he had quite a bit of respect/regard for the sport. Anyway, each to their own...
it was a bit of a novelty, but the main thing is if the fighters were having fun & are willing, then good on them, if they want to box, its probably the only opportunity they get, as for the names..... dont the fighters get a say in it? i personally found it boring to watch, but good on them for having a go, i dont have the gonads to do it, sparring is as far is ill go.
ok put it this way, can you picture Wimbledon before a Nadal Federer final putting on an exhibition of midget tennis on centre court ? no way ! they have too much respect for their sport ! Everyone who has the guts to step on the ring doesn't deserve to be on a national televised event, that's the sad truth. Being on tv should be about being the best this country has to offer
