Really hyped for this showdown between 2 huge, skilled, elite welters, should be an exciting, competitive fight and may the best man win. I made a bet when the fight was signed for Brook which I had to cancel after I swotted up on Spence who has really impressed me.
Brook is a top man and boasts a fine repertoire of boxing skills; intelligent movement, accurate jab and undercut as well as plenty of other high level attributes. He also has home advantage which may prove to be the difference.
Spence is another impressive all rounder with great shot selection and heavy hands. He also has the edge in hunger considering this is his opportunity to be a World Champion. I like Spence as a personality too, he has that quiet confidence.

I hope the fight lives up to expectation and I have a good feeling we will be in for a real treat, a classic welterweight showdown between 2 of the top 3 in the division. It makes me laugh how all the UK fans think Brook got this while all the yanks believe Spence walks him down and pulverises him before stopping him. Since I am a fan of both I don't mind who wins as they're both fine examples of fearless, elite contender/champion, 1 thing I've noticed is the Spence fans are very confident whereas the Brook supporters seem more wary.

I will probably bet Spence by late stoppage but any result wouldn't surprise me. The best thing about a Brook victory would be watching the reaction from all the black youtube channels who have built Spence up to be some kind of unstoppable boxing god.(which is strange as they give GGG dogs abuse for his level of competition, while Errol is already a p4p beast when he has Algieri and Bundu as his best wins.:nut:

The fact that Spence spars the Charlo twins and apparently gives them all they can handle is quite the endorsement as I rate the Charlo's very highly, does anyone know who Brooks main sparring partner(s) have been in the build up to this?

No idea who Brook's sparring partners have been.....

But i'd imagine they haven't all been of different weight classes.

Do you think Spence is hiding a glass mandible?

****, dude. You just jinxed the fight. Now it's going to be a 12 round snoozer with more clinches than power punches thrown.

People being a bit ott, Spence is still a little taller and I wouldn't be surprised if he balloon's up heavier.

Spence is a huge Welterweight cutting massive weights, Spence comes down from 175 too

Agreed. Not sure why people are so fixated on Spence being "small". He is the same frame size as Brook.

I wouldn't be shocked, Brook will test his chin for sure.

It's simple. When you carry large amounts of muscle like Spence does they tend to shrink when you dehydrate. he will inflate after the weight and be larger on fight night. If Anthony Joshua had to drain 20+ lbs each fight he'd look like Wilder before the weigh in.

    Just kidding

Jamie Cox, unbeaten SMW who is rumoured to be fighting Chris Eubank Jr this summer.
Craig Cunningham, southpaw LMW/MW who just beat Anthony Ogogo.

Which begs the question why we're people so insistent on how brook will make the weight when Spence has to work just as hard to do so.

    Oops, sorry.

What happened to your sexy avatar? Did you bow to the pressure from the prudes who protested against her?

I am getting sick of that ****s rumours!!!

He can fight Cox in June/July and I am all for it but come Super series time if he doesn't sign up for that or fight a Degale/Groves/Smith etc I will no longer be a fan.

You can only take so much BS as a fan, even if you do rate the fighter

Yeah that's the first time I've seen him looking a bit uncomfortable. But like you say it could just be getting the weight off is taking its toll. I did get the impression that he couldn't detect any fear in Kell's eyes and that he means business.
