To be fair McCloskey looked a killer when he fought Lynes, you could argue that this was helped by Lynes head not being right--bursting into tears isn't a good sign, nevertheless McCloskey looked great...good shot selection, trim and in shape. Since then he seems to have gone down hill...on Friday he looked flabby at the weight and his defence was like a sieve. I don't know whether he was trying too hard to impress a home crowd but to be honest right up until the peachy shot at the end he looked pretty average at best. IBO doesn't count
looking average might be just what he needs to get a shot at the (in my opnion) overprotected Khan. When Paul fights his fght hes very hard to hit, and almost impossible to beat. I don't know what he was thinking with all that Rocky style **** with Lauri, but i hope he's learned from it. He looks fatter than he is, a lot of Irish people never have 6 packs
Khan is in his early 20's and McCloskey is in his 30's, Khan has faced the better opposition, who sound like the more protected?
McCloskey didn't have Frank Warrens hype machine getting him loads of fights. Paul was almost completely unheard of in Britain until he destroyed Lynes.
Prescott aint better than McCloskey! Seriously Dom how much of Paul McCloskey have you even seen because you sound like you haven't got the first ****ing clue about him.
Here we are again, different set of circumstances completely:good. I cant decide whether youre trying to say Khan has not improved since his Presscot defeat or you that you cant use persepective:good On a side not, there is no friggen way Prescott is better than McCloskey, i would like to see McCloskey step up his compitition so he sink or swims and then we can entertain the idea that he can give Khan a good fight, i feel its groundless to clain that Khan would'nt win until Paul steps up a couple of levels:good
