anyone know if that guy was ok after the fight? he took a pounding.

i always complain of stopping to soon, but i think he should have stopped it earlier

They should have let it continue. Let Darchinyan prove he has the heart of a warrior.

Same thing happened in the Burgos fight, Vics shortcomings can let guys off the hook because they can duck in low and avoid his wide followups.

But then the accumulation of shots builds up and probably ends up doing more damage in the end.
I thought it should have been stopped in the 11th at least but Vic kept letting the bloke back into the fight by getting caught and tired.

they didnt show the fight here in the Philippines. They showed today's UFC fights, but no boxing today.

Good point. I agree that Toney's trip to the buffet line with the ref made the fight last too long.

Thought it should have been stopped a minute earlier in the last round. Catubay was taking punishment all the way but never gave in, and did land the odd dangerous shot. But when then 12th started Vic motored out and the ref seemed to want to see Catubay fall. He wore some serious solid blows in the final few minutes and I couldn't see the point of him letting it go, in fact was on my feet screaming at the tv to stop it. All credit to Catubay but theres brave and theres crazy brave.

It should have been stopped at the end of the tenth.
