think it was a draw without the deductions,

would be intesting to see what would happen if fig caught ricky whilst the ref was holding his arm. pretty obvious the ref was being paid off for that.

theres a future for ricky at 135 though,

Sorry no sympathy, I saw those fights in Scotland and Burns got enough favours.

And let's get it right the amount of grabbing and holding Burns does is ridiculous.

One thing I will agree with is the ref shouldn't be whipping arms back like that, the man could end up injuring somebody, I thought shouting "break" was the way to do it not pulling arms like that.

I'm not sure how the judges scored those pathetic arm punches that Omar was throwing on the inside, Burns has looked awful the last couple of years but he was fast, accurate and boxed really well tonight - sickening robbery considering his situation.

Laurence Cole is an AWFUL referee, despite his many poor performances and controversies he is still allowed to referee? Tonight I really would have loved Burns to lay him out, Sims should have had a go at him the first time he started physically ripping Burns arms out of clinches, Manny Steward would have *******ed the ref.

I hope Burns gets another big fight but not in Germany..sorry Texas.

The scoring was very poor though Ricky looked good using his great jab but kept getting himself involved with inside fighting were fig was simply to strong hence winning him the fight, I thought Ricky invited fig on to him too much on the ropes instead of trying to keep it long from the centre and moving side to side

Cole was awful. The refs last instructions being to protect yourself at all times.

Very hard to do when the ref is pulling your arm away without calling break, very dangerous and incorrect actions.

So Burns gets a dose of his own medicine.I believe it is not a lie to suggest that Burns has been the recipient of a couple of hometown nods in his favour in Scotland.Payback is a b itch!

The ref was ridiculous grabbing like that but he was very lenient with the holding, and especially the punching behind the head, from Ricky. He can't moan at all.

Ricky clearly lost and was lucky not to be DQ'ed. The holding and rabbit punching were ridiculous.
