Lets not get outta hand it was more Berto being shot to **** and shoulder being ****ed than Jesus Soto Karass, I wouldn't waste a date on him with anyone even sort of established Thurman vs soto then let the winner face broner ....

he would have lost anyway with an undamaged shoulder. he was never able to deal with the workrate and height of karass

I'd hardly say that Jones out-boxed him in their first fight. Regardless, I doubt anyone is saying Soto Karass is suddenly one of the best fighters in the world. He is what he is - a very tough, determined, strong fighter who can give most fighters trouble on his day.

He clearly beat Mike Jones in the first fight. Guessing you are referring to the second fight with '(2x)'.

But i think JSK would be a tough fight for Alexander, Brook, Khan, Ortiz.

I had Karass winning the first Jones fight. Either way, he's a better fighter now than he was a couple of years ago.

Yea but people are alraedy saying he deserves a title shot ect. I believe he should get another guy like Berto first. Maybe he should fight the Ghost now.

Berto wasn't shot in there, he just was never that great to begin with. A classic case of a fighter that had talent but coasted on it and never refined his craft. Berto is a brawler with fast hands and heart, but he doesn't possess defense, he fights stupidly, headhunts a ton, low workrate, and a questionable chin. His speed was enough to get him by against handpicked opposition and once he stepped up, he got exposed.

As for Soto-Karass, he is a very tough gatekeeper level guy with a huge motor, heart, good length, and a very good chin. He's not good against boxer-types around the same level like Alfonso Gomez, Yuri Foreman, Mike Jones(when not punching himself out), Rosado, etc, because the movement and technique gap is too wide for him to overcome, but stick him in against a non-boxer type and at the least he will give them hell.

Rosado is very good and very, very underrated.

He schooled Love like it was no big deal.

Rosado/Love was a close fight. Rosado probably should have gotten the nod, but having Love winning by a point ins't absurd. He controlled most of the action
