I've honestly never met anyone who this upsets?
I legit think a flush punch by Mikey at 140 would put Price down. I think if Golovkin landed his best punch on Price it would be Khan/Canelo all over again.
Haha. We're going as far down the weights as Mikey? Poor old Pricey - that poor a resistance makes Amir Khan look like Oliver McCall.
Pretty much. I clown on Khan's pakistani glass, but compared to Price he's packing pure granite.
It's not really any better. He just has better survival instincts and stamina.
Khans is purely a wreckless fighting style with low ring iq. Price is he isn't a natural fighter and is burning up nervous energy days before the fight, come fight time hes fighting on nerves and gasses rapid as ****, add a shakey chin and you have someone who shouldn't be in a ring. There are no comparisons to be made between the two !
Khans a hearty warrior... Fella gets to much stick
It still plays in femi's mind.
Khan's chin is way better. The shots from Canelo, Prescott and Garcia that knocked the stuffing out of him were absolutely savage punches, and Khan still got up from the Garcia one for a couple rounds too. Then he survived that hellish onslaught in round ten against Maidana.
Then you look at Price who was brutally KO'd, unconscious and in need of medical assistance when he was laid out by a throwaway punch by the big fat Turkish kebab boy.
Not only does Khan have way more heart than Plumber Pricey, his chin is way more solid at his weight in comparison.
Maybe he did, but who gives F. Sparring is sparring. Josh is a superstar now, where is Price now?
Golovkin is the lowest guy I'd be 100% certain of, although there may be some other WWs or LMWs. Paulie wouldn't, he's truly feather-fisted, and although Price's chin is terrible for a pro it's not quite as bad as some think - e.g. in his last fight it was really his lack of stamina that stopped him instead of Hammer's shots.
If Wilder had been moved at the same pace as Price against the same opponents, how do you think he would of got on? And if he took the same Ls do you think he would have the heart to keep trying to come back?
Realistically the only MWs who would be capable IMO are GGG and Andy Lee. But I reckon a lot from 168-200 would blast out Price. In Liverpool alone, a SMW Callum Smith and a CW Tony Bellew would blast Price's chin apart.
uh.....can anyone tell me what a phycologist is?
Its a tough question because we won't ever truly know and can only speculate.
I am not sure Wilder would have done any better against Thompson than Price did, had Wilder had as few fights as Price and been moved as quickly, but would clearly favour Wilder now against that version of Thompson due to gaining experience and not being rushed.
I don't think Price would have lost for a long time if at all at this current time had he been moved like Wilder against the same competition at the same pace
Only speculation of course
