Man, a super-light vitali is a behemoth of pure wanten destruction! He could have taken Adamek out any time but from pure respect he didn't.

Vitali turned back the clock 5 years in this fight imo.

I've always thought any version of Vitali would destroy Haye.

I disagree that he could have taken Adamek out anytime though, that's not his bag, safety first, ko second.

Vitali was hard to hit tonight, and he would be hard to hit for Haye.
Knowing that Haye cant touch Vitali, I dont see Haye putting up much of a fight. I can either see him running or get completely outclassed. Vitali's punch output would seriously damage Haye

I think he if stepped on the gas he'd have KO'd adamek as early as round 1 (or was it 2?) where adamek hit the ropes?

if you watch closely.....>Vitali lowered his arms out of respect. Really guys rewatch it you'll see. He didn't want to end it that early.

Yeah, I got the impression that if he stepped on the gas, he could have gotten Adamek out of there as early as the 3rd round. I'm just not sure if that's intentional or a cautious style that prevented him from doing that.

Haye shouldn't be allowed to easily talk his way into a title fight again. Make him earn his way back. Guys like Arreola, Solis, Haye, Helenius...can all fight each other to earn a shot at one of the Klits.

I don't think it was out of respect that Vitali didn't finish him quick. As Nelson said, he was like a child prodding a dying spider with a stick. He was trying to make the process of punishing him, as long as possible.

Haye is not a punch bag like Adamek is at this weight.

I agree.I actually think Vitali is a mean, mean ******* in the ring. In his pre-fight interviews he always stresses how he wants to beat up his opponents first

Vitali would beat Haye, but not like that. Adamek was basically a stationary target lunging in with punches, and Wlad, who is faster than his brother by quite a margin, couldn't tag Haye solidly enough to have him in any real trouble. Haye has significantly better movement/reflexes than Adamek.

Vitali by decision. And it's obvious from this fight that Adamek should never have been at Heavyweight in the first place, he got destroyed exactly like I thought he would.

Adamek just didn't have the power to do anything when he did land.

But if Haye were to land, it would create some tense moments.

Haye vs Vitali will be next, in my opinion, and it'll be another Vitali KO or stoppage, but not without some edge of your seat moments.

    Vitali has a sadistic side.

If Vitali could have ended it early he would have.

To end it requires opening up, in doing that he leaves himself more open than he's comfortable with, this has always been Vitali's m.o, nothing new.

the first punch that wobbled adamek, was the same against solis. adamek has a iron knee.

Vitali is slow and inacurate. He beat Adamek with his size and weight. Nothing more, nothing less.
