he definately deserves a rematch, even though he lost. I'd watch it for sure.

It's amazing how overwhelming majority had the fight for Shogun, I wonder what those judges are thinking now. they should resign.

There are 4 people that think Machida won, the 3 judges and Philla appear to be the only ones.

I didnt catch the actual fight and only saw a glimpse of the match when it ended, when they were announcing the score cards. The impression I got without actually watching the fight but based on how the fighters looked is that Machida looked more damaged than usual and Shogun looked less damaged and more confident (like he won the fight)... Ill have to watch it but based on everyones comments, I can see why.

Yeah, all of press row had it for Shogun, and the (initially) pro-Machida crowd was cheering Shogun at the end, yet there are people on a bunch of sites claiming that the only people who thought Rua won were influenced by Rogan.

Whatever. I'm willing to bet that we'll see a rematch soon unless there are any injuries coming out of the fight.

Yea, I just watched the fight. I was never more pissed about a decision before. I didn't see the thread so I took it out on the other ones lol.
But yea, this **** is ridiculous. Oh and Machida didn't win a single round haha.

After watching it, and I watched it in mute, I have to say that Rua won ...he had the better gameplan and he out worked and broke Machida down with the leg kicks. Im surprised Machida had no answer for the leg kicks and just ate them up the way he did; it caught up to him.

For sure Shogun won this fight, he never outright dominated Machida so those clueless (corrupt ?) fat **** judges will get away with it no doubt but the man certainly did enough to become the new champ.

He did it where it mattered most - in the championship rds, I told you all that Rua would be the most talented & hardest fight of Machida`s career & that was the case.
No shame for Machida tho, he lost to the best 205 lber in MMA.
