I thought Rua won. I didn't think it was a robbery.

Easily 4-1. Even a MMA noob like me could see that. Machida at best wins 2 rounds. Great fight from Shogun. At least the arena and most of the viewing audience realizes who actually won that fight.

Yep bad decision. I gave 2 rounds to Machida and I think that was being generous. He just couldn't get into his game, which speaks volumes about Shogun imo. Instead of just crying about the decision (which was bad ok) I think we should also appreciate just how good Shogun was last night. A lot of people thought Machida was on another level, almost invincible, and I don't think anyone would have expected him to be outpointed. But Shogun had an excellent gameplan and implemented it very well. He destroyed Machida's leg's and battered his body which inhibited Machida's movement greatly.

And a note on Rogan, I have to say that he was on Shogun's nuts all night and he didn't call alot of Machida's work, especially the straight right counters over the leg kicks. Nevertheless it was still clear that Shogun won that fight.

me too, plus the 5th where even though Machida looked gassed he still won it clearly in my eyes.

I thought that they both looked amazing last night. Shogun's gameplan to close the gap very slowly and methodically was smart as hell, making it very difficult for Machida to use his own offense. + he was in incredible shape, much better body language than Machida. But Machida dug deep and pulled it out of the bag. I thought Shogun kind of deviated from his gameplan in the final round and he paid for it.

    round 5,

I thought Rua won but watching it, after I thought if you wanted to you could definitely give it to Machida. Going to score it properly again in a bit.

I think Rua won the 4th and 5th comfortably with the 3rd possibly being slightly closer. The 2nd was really close and could have gone either way. Just for me after the 2nd round, Machida really started to feel the effects of those leg and body kicks and with Shogun not relenting with his gameplan he started to fall behind. Great gameplan from Shogun and it was executed brilliantly.

Me & my brother bet each other, I picked Rua, he picked Machida, he told me to keep my money after that decision - true story.

Most fans are willing to admit the truth, Shogun won the fight.
