I like how the first thing people go to is "he was the aggressor" So the **** what, it doesnt matter when its not effective. Or maybe i'm the ******* because it does to some judges. I dont know anymore.
It's judging these days, man. It's absolute crap. Scoring a fight needs to be way more clear cut and obvious, instead of every judge having their own personal preference of how to score a fight.
Definitely a close fight. wouldn't consider it a robbery. I thought Cunningham won 7-5. There were a few rounds that Adamek probably stole at the very end,, in the eyes of the judges. There have been far, far worse bad decisions this year that haven't elicited the reaction that this fight has.
''It all depends on what you were looking at,'' said Adamek's trainer, Roger Bloodworth. ''If you looked at effective punching, which is what the judges saw, they would have give this to Tomasz. If you liked running and being a stylist, then you wanted Cunningham. I think the more effective puncher won this fight, and that was Tomasz.''
Cunningham was controlling the fight and deserved the win. He was outboxing Adamek on the outside (who's reflexes are shot and defense was never good). Cunningham has no fans tho.... Its a shame, he is a really talented boxer.... He should get more support from philly/pa fans. His lack off an exciting style/crappy fan base really cost him this time :-( Its pathetic that Cunningham had to go to ****ing Germany to get more opportunities....
First half of the fight was mostly Steve. Second half mostly Adamek. Close fight with a slight edge to Steve. Draw would not have been out of the realm.
forza -- is he a bad speller or just engaging in a little racist wordplay? forza: the guy you turn to when "nosbor" isn't around.
Cunningham didn't destroy Adamek but he won. I don't care if you're walking forward just to get hit by right hands. Also Adamek was basically doing nothing the whole round just to throw punches the last 20 seconds but for most of the time he didn#t do much
