Because I have about 100 years worth of Heavyweight Boxing history data.
And I understand how to weigh this performance against the context of what is and isn't typical in the sport.

Could Wilder even land on Fury?

The guys swings are way too big.

Any heavy generates power being allowed to swing like that.

If Wilder wants to beat AJ, he needs to continue improving his jab, but also cut down the swing and practice improving his actual 'power punching'.

It was against someone who’s been inactive 2 years and never threw a punch. How can you be impressed by that?

We all knew it was going to happen. Even pre fight Stiverne wouldn’t look at him. He was petrified. He just got his money and ran.

That's the kind of mental gymnastics it takes to defend a farce like this. The implications don't magically disappear just because you weren't using the comment for that purpose. Who the hell cares if a guy on a forum can beat Stiverne in the ring. Can Salido or Inoue beat Stiverne? No? I guess they can't say anything negative about the guy then. **** off with that logic. Stiverne and the WBC made a mockery of the sport tonight and he deserve every bit of criticism he gets for tricking people into thinking him getting fat was actually just him being dehydrated in the first fight. It's an insult of every boxing fans intelligence.

The outcome of this fight shouldn't change anyone's opinion on Wilder's physical abilities (Stiverne is terrible).

But I thought Wilder actually made good use of psychological warfare in the ring.

Mike Tyson and Ali didn't just crush their opponents with their superior abilities. Mike intimidated the **** out of his opponents, and Ali humiliated his.

I've seen Wilder try to emulate this and not really have much success.

But Wilder did well this time. He made good use of theatrics and style to overwhelm Stiverne, supplementing his physical abilities. So, good for Wilder.

You're not picking up what dw did, that shot is a fight ender. He's so fast of hand and foot with insane snap on those sick shots.

Keep telling us how chiny and shitty dw is, us fans will enjoy the next couple years of craziness

If they called him a bum then you can actually entertain their claim by comparing them. This isn’t basketball. These guys are fighters and are making serious sacrifices every time they fight, and deserve a bit more respect than to call someone a hobo after losing a fight.

The path to getting to Stiverns class is arduous. Bums don’t survive that journey.

Wilder put his hands completely down right in front of him. He had complete mastery of the situation. You can normalize an ass kicking like that all you want, and smugly chalk it up to the other guy being a bum. But the fact is that this was a unique, dominating performance.

Pretty sure three reason was povetkin could go clean for one camp evening fighting "washed up fat bum" says more about that povetkin character and most on here's talent gauge than anything else

Eh, no Povetkin fought that weekend vs Duhaupas and saved Stiverne from being exposed before tonight.

Like sacrificing tasty food and their family to get into fighting shape? Yeah I don't think that applies to Stiverne mate. Sorry. Stiverne got his dues in the first fight. He doesn't deserve any respect just because he was gifted a rematch.

" He had complete mastery of the situation. You can normalize an ass kicking like that all you want, and smugly chalk it up to the other guy being a bum. But the fact is that this was a unique, dominating performance."

I would probably be a lot happier in life if I were this ignorant and optimistic.
