I don't get why people keep saying there was something wrong with Povetkin, it's because he is old, not because he had coronavirus, he recovered from that, Luke Campbell had coronavirus, I'm gonna be honest, I knew Whyte wouldn't get any credit for this, but I thought people would say Povetkin was old, not that he still was suffering from the effects of coronavirus, it is ridiculous, he looked exactly the same in the ring walk and fight as he did the last fight, it's just that Whyte exposed his age this time by taking it to him
Povetkin's legs were rubbery in the first round without him even getting seriously hit and Whyte was arguably cagier in this fight than the first. The first three rounds were competitive in the first fight but none of the rounds were competitive this time around. Povetkin had little left at 41; he had nothing left after sustaining even more damage in the last fight and aging another 6 months. But you can only beat the man in front of you and Whyte stopped him early. Whyte also didn't run away or show signs of crumbling psychologically, so it was a good win for him.

No it goddamn wasn't, he had no legs at all and his reflexes were even worse. Everything was declined physically there.
Povetkin only looked better in the ring because is because of that 1 KO punch, only reason Povetkin looked worse in the rematch is because Whyte attacked him and made Povetkin look old, it was **** all to do with the fact that he had coronavirus, Povetkin ring walk looked the same
Povetkin looked terrible in the first fight for sure, but in this one he was wobbling for no reason. I was (an am) worried about him neurologically even apart from getting hit. He needs to retire immediately.
Povetkin was not fit to fight. How can an Olympic medalist with one of the best fundamentals be tripping over his own feet and staggering at blocked shots. Was even worse than degale-Eubank.
Again take your biased glasses off. He was landing at will in the first fight, and his defence was way better than the nonexistent defence of today. He was also countering, and landing a lot more shots, as well as actually have the legs to go close and landing the shots, and have the speed in the hands to do so. Yeah he was very shot in the first, but now he was 90% worst. Whyte looked the same, and was swinging like a complete amateur. He did not improve even a bit from the first fight, and its a big KO waiting to happen again.
