Unless I'm missing something, but are you honestly having a go at someone for talking about literature, and, in this particular part of the post you linked to, very good literature?

 

He's not annoying me, the only thing that is annoying me is the people that seem to think he's invincible and the bogeyman of the division. I still think he was in with an out of sorts Joshua, he could have been finished after he was knocked down but Joshua wasn't the same that night. I think he's a comical KO waiting to happen, comical because when a big lump with a face like his goes down it looks funny. I'll say it again though, hats off to him, he took his chance, short notice, and he took it with both hands.

Bit dismayed to be honest. Joshua should want to go back to the us to take his titles back. Hes been sold as this super champion. Ruiz signed a contract. He’s not exactly been stitched up. From AJs point of view he has to give himself the best chance of winning. Winning the belts keeps him in with a shot of hundreds of millions.

 

I agree the ref in that fight hampered Parker but Ruiz team will make a HUGE deal about being allowed to fight up close.

I see virtually no chance of Joshua winning, Ruiz is levels above in every department.

 

Broadly I agree, but:
Joshua has height reach and power. He absolutely cannot be ruled out. (In fact he very nearly chinned Ruiz already.. it was Ruiz ability to take a punch and strike back instantly that saved him first time and won him the fight.).

 

I don't think he was "saved" in the first fight by anything, he took Joshua's best punches when his feet were squared up and stumbled over off balance, got up took another flush Joshua straight right, it had zero effect then he battered Joshua

Ruiz took all of Joshuas best and wasn't hurt, everything he landed on Joshua had Joshua in serious trouble.

Ruiz is just 10x better fighter than Joshua I can't wait to bet in the rematch, easy money

The idea that Ruiz was "lucky" to be "given a shot" "in his own country" is absolutely being overplayed by the AJ supporters now.

YES, Ruiz was lucky to get a title shot on June 1st, but Joshua was lucky also to find an opponent for his much-advertised US debut after Miller had messed up and others had rejected the offers to be Miller's replacement.

And, NO, the New York stage was Joshua's stage for making his big statement in America, this wasn't some favour to the American Ruiz (who is based 2,500 miles away on the west coast anyway).

The rematch should be in Madison Square Garden again. For the sake of both fighters.

I'll be impressed if Joshua can win against Ruiz, wherever it is.
But if he wins in the UK the question marks will hang over him why he can't perform outside of his own turf.

Ruiz should definitely not fight Joshua in the UK. After Whyte failing a test and still cleared to fight it shows which corrupt shithouse the UK is if it comes to boxing, not even speaking about all those hilarious scorecards on Matchroom cards. Even in the US Matchroom fixed the cards (Josh Kelly, Katie Taylor).
