October 27th will have the Cheeseman vs Byfield card on Sky, Pulev vs Fury on channel 5 and there will be a WBSS quarter final on as well, assuming a UK broadcaster picks up the WBSS again and Jacobs vs Derevyanchenko. Usually when there's a clash of shows the dilemma is what one to watch and what one to record. But now there's 3 on the same night, same time (not including Jacobs vs Derevyanchenko later on) I suppose it'll need to be, watch one, record one and get the other one on catch up or a repeat. Bloody hell, I'll be watching boxing from Saturday night straight through to Sunday night. I'm sure the Mrs will be thrilled Lol.
They did pick it up but only for America. The only DAZN shows Sky are showing are their Matchroom USA shows.
Its getting a bit complex for my brain... Team Stream will be getting a lot more subscribers i expect
Not on sky mate. Kalle said in a recent interview he negotiating as we speak with ITV again for the British rights. Hopefully all will be on itv4 the first rounds anyway I can't see any of them being on PPV.
How on earth can they be the best option again? Was a joke last time, showed at least 2 fights on a stream only service. Very little promotion for the fights, find it very hard to believe they did good numbers on the PPV. The Cruiserweights will be a very tough sell this time.
Yes that’s true but I was hoping BT would show some quality control over their PPV’s unlike ITV. Could we really see Tete,Burnett and Turbo Terry on PPV.I thought that BT using the concept at prime time would reel in more punters for the Warren shows where they would then pull out the box office model. The WSSB is competitive, high class, top production boxing and it deserves primetime and a good platform? ITV hide it away on a box office channel free to air and then wheel out PPV for Smith v Holkien,Groves v Cox and Eubank jnr v that Aussie whose name has escaped me. That’s so unhealthy for the sport.
Also (maybe naively) I figured Warren letting Tete and Turbo in was a sign of their interest but I’m probaly way off.
