This leaves Murray in no-mans land. Sturm will not fight him again. The other champions wont touch him. The only slight change would be Quilin but what would be the point going over to the USA to get jerked on the scorecards. Plus Hatton already turned that fight down. I cant see him getting a shot again unless someone puts in a grave amount of money in the pot.

I don't think Macklin Vs Murray would even be a close fight.

I think Murray wins a wide decision at worst and in reality probably stops him mid-way.

Macklins best days have been and gone IMO/

For a guy who has been very inactive of late I think Murray is vastly over rated. It seems some get 'better' outside of the ring almost.

I disagree. Martin is made for Matt.

    Macklin via KO within 8.

you could be right BB. But I reckon later - after 8.
The key to beating Murray is to do the one thing Sturm and Sergio failed to do - test his engine. A high workrate swarmer with decent power like Mack is kryptonite to SuperMurray! :thumbsup

    Murray would decapitate Macklin.
Says a lot about a fighter when his best performance is a loss to Sturm.

Let's see if Sturm has the cojones to try and unify.
