Look at the way he setups his punches against Holmes; Left Hook then explode into the Overhand Right. There was a purpose to each punch, not simply just a mindless brawler.

Sasha however did nothing of the that, instead he plodded forward falling into Wlad's Jab's/Left Hooks, he gave nothing to Wlad to think about before going to the body. It doesn't help either with a disgraceful Ref but it is what it is. :conf

 

It helps when the target was pretty much a semi retired cardboard cutout.

You're missing the point; Povetkin's footwork is bad, he can't set-up his punches properly.

Prime Tyson would knock the **** out of any version of Vlad. Vlad is WAY too slow and way to easy to hit for a ferocious, fast puncher like Tyson. It would honest last 1, 2 rounds TOPS.
Tua would knock the **** out of Vlad for goodness sakes. Morrison would too!

Tyson has the shortest prime ever in boxing. ******s think that he was done at 24 when a tomato can like Buster Douglas KHTFO.

 

Very easy fight for Tyson. Wlad has the abilty to time it perfectly when to clinch. He times the oponnent coming in then pounces. Tyson was way too fast for him to get away with this over and over again. Just imagine the first 3 rounds! The way Tyson comes out like a man possessed. No way Wlad makes it out of the first 3 rounds.

 

The thing is no matter what heavyweight in history Mike is fighting even if he loses at some point during the fight he lands a big punch and if he did against Wlad it would be lights out..

 

Prime Tyson would not be the underdog vs. the horrible. Some of you kids here must be like 14 years old I swear.

 

You don't think he was done then? He didn't even train for that fight, was noticeably out of shape, sluggish with no trainer in his corner. People forget that Mike actually won that fight when he knocked Buster down earlier in fight and ref counted super slow and Buster was actually down for 14 seconds. It should have been over. But Mike went to jail and was never the same when he came out. Vs Holyfield he looked better but still slower and not himself.
