It was pretty ****ing badass, but I must disagree.... Froch being knocked out cold by Groves and waking up before he hit the canvass was far more impressive.
The Gypsy King rising from the dead against Donkey Froch miraculously managing to awaken from a deep slumber and haul his ass back off the canvas after Groves put him to sleep with a general anesthetic of a right hand Super Joe Calzaghe going down like a sack of potatoes dropped off a roof from a Byron Mitchell bomb that would've sparked out a woolly mammoth only to pick himself up immediately and drop Mitchell on his ass a few seconds later Nigel Benn being knocked out of the ring and very nearly out by the savage punching Mcclellan (''who was brought over to bash him up'') only to turn it around and stop him later on in the fight Tony Bellew's face hitting the canvas with such a thud after shipping an almighty Ovil Mckenzie bomb that there is still a huge dent in it to this day What do they all share in common? from wake up to git up faster than Frankenstein's monster. faster than Jesus after he finally gets the ok. faster than my woody at the cheerleader's nudist colony, well not quite that fast.
Calzaghe got dropped hard and won by stoppage in the same round a couple of times. Fury's was the most impressive recovery I've seen though. Took a massive hook on the way down whilst defenceless and then sat up like the undertaker.
Nah. That was the first round when recuperative powers are at their strongest. Also Froch took about four rounds to recover.
I was expecting that KD all fight. But never thought he would recover like that. Truly incredible. He impressed me even more than the Wlad fight. Sadly, in 5 years, hell, 5 weeks, people will only remember it as a draw.
Ha, it really was like the undertaker. It was incredible. He looked knocked out cold for a couple of seconds. Was it Byron Mitchell who had Joe down? I think i remember that turning out to an astonishing round after that. Its not the getting knocked down that matters its how you get up and shake it off. I cant believe Fury was able to shake that off, that was a hell of a couple of shots that would put anybody down, some would get up but not for long and not on steady legs and certainly not ready to continue dominating the round like he just had been. That one little segment was by far the moment of the night for me even if it cost Fury the win on the cards.
Imagine how they were feeling when Fury not only got up, but recovered and was actually punching back at Wilder mere seconds later, to the point where he won the rest of the round? And this was Fury at basically 50%. Lots of people learned a very valuable Leshun here: never write Tyson Fury off.
Yeah the second round of the Mitchell fight was a great example of his ability to recover. A friend of mine compared the Fury one to this although unfortunately Fury didn't get up and take it out of those joke judges hands. This content is protected
