I'm boycotting his fights, anyone else sick and tired of his jab and grab tactic? He didn't even try to be sneaky the other night, he just threw the 1-2 and leaned on Povetkin over and over and over, and the little he did fight from the outside, he absolutely minced Povetkin. He has no guts, none. He knows all it takes is one tap on his fragile chin and he'd panick and get kayoed if it weren't for those wrestling tactics. I expected a fizzle, an embarrassment for the sport, but what I saw was much more grim than that, Grabimir is an absolute disgrace to our sport.
And his most hardcore fans compare him to Mayweather, they have to be absolutely shitting us. :rofl Grabimir Clinchko is the worst thing that happened to the heavyweight division, and that's including Johnny Squid Ruiz.
It's time to start giving Vlad a hard time....lord knows he needs it. He was clinching 3 seconds after the opening bell sounded.
Well over here in Holland it's on free TV, so i'll prolly see the next one if i have nothing better to do, but that was some hard **** to watch. No disrespect to Klitschko, one has to respect his dominance and longevity. 15 defenses in 7,5 years is nothing to balk at. But what a horrible style to watch. This guy is not even a bad infighter. He is NO KIND OF INFIGHTER WHATSOEVER! It's all jab, jab, clinch, drop in an occasional right hand or left hook. Very effective, to be sure and it must be hard to execute otherwise many more fighters would probably do it. But all that clinching on the inside and leaning down on guys, that's not boxing skill. That **** is supposed to be against the rules and yet he's been getting away with it for years. Be that as it may, his absence of any infighting SKILL makes him an incomplete fighter IMO and that's why i will never rank him up there with guys like Mayweather, Ward, Hopkins, Cotto or Pacquiao, to name a few.
I really don't get it... I'm not sure how if you're a fan of boxing you would defend his performance last night? I really have nothing personal against Vlad, actually enjoy the fact he brings a lot of class and sportsmanship outside the ring. But MAN that was just ugly ugly ugly last night.
yeah its hard on the eyes i admit....but its up to the other guy to at least try and do something about it. Povetkin isnt a 145 pound weakling.
:rofl:roflatsch you are so right. i said the exact same thing after the Chagaev fight the Only waldo fight i ever watch these days is Sanders - i recommend that as therapy for trying to erase what poosimir's just put you through
