Cotto was no where near his prime, and I wouldn't call him a great. But yeah, he showed why Floyd isn't unbeatable looking when he's in with a quality opponent. It no wonder why he dodged all these guys back when they were in there primes, and he continues to dodge Pacquiao.

HAHAH wasn't even close? Tell that to Floyd sitting in his corner at round 8 with blood all over his face, corner shitting their pants, wife standing up with hands on mouth. Cotto was taking the fukin fight over at one point and only reason he didn't completely was because he totally gassed. He won 3 straight rounds and stopped fighting.
Floyd aint all what he's cracked up to be. He won on conditioning tonight and anyone that knows boxing and isn't delusional will tell you that.

    Exactly.
Cotto isn't washed up nor is Floyd but neither of them are at their peak either.
But you get the point, Floyd is a great fighter but not that great.

Yep. This is just another reality check to fans. Castillo did it a long time ago, against a prime Mayweather. He's never been unbeatable. Floyd has picked his opponents very carefully ever since he moved up to 147.

Dude Floyd won the first 5 rounds on most cards. Cotto won 3 rounds in a row and Floyd adjusted and got back on his ass. How did he get exposed? He said he was going to go toe to toe with Cotto and he did and won. Let it go brah, You know you liked it.

Much closer fight than I thought it would be. I was expecting May winning around 10 rounds, and he did win 8, but I thought he would win clearly, instead Cotto was right in there in nearly every single round winning his share of rounds clearly.

You dumb ****. Cotto won 3 straight rounds at a pinnacle time in the fight. He turned the tide and starting taking over. Duh, winning 3 straight rounds signifies taking over, duh. HAd he not gassed 3 rounds could've turned into more.
Cotto lost on conditioning. Mayweather did not outbox him when they were both fresh and Cotto had a lot of success dictating the pace and swarming gayweather when he wanted. Mayweather shut right down when Cotto was hammering him. Just look at the punch count drop. But unfortunately, as letterman said, cotto stopped fighting when he could have taken the fight right over.
