Maidana is dangerous to any 147 lber out there. I can't see why he would be any less dangerous to a LW moving up. Paulie can't break glass, but he was a solid opponent for a guy moving up because of skills and savvy.

I am certainly not defending Broner, the guy is a clown, but I find no fault in his choice of opponents at ww, quite the contrary. I wish challenges like that were sought more often from guys out there. Obviously his skills didn't match his ambition.
