That's why I wrote Winky should fight Sturm?

Yeah Winky is a cool person once you meet him though his decisions right now are too difficult to agree with. He has SO many options in the middleweight division for some really good fights yet he refuses to stay active, I just can't understand what's the deal here. If he honestly believes he won the last 2 fights he had then why not stay active at least and prove it?, just can't understand what he's thinking.

 

I think the reason is because there are some fighters who think they are bigger than what they really are like Hop and Wright. So they feel like everyone is avoiding them. When the truth is they don't draw **** as far as ticket sells. Plus there styles are not exciting. Wink does have alot of option and I believe that Arum wanted a fight with him and Pav, but he priced himself out big time.

People like Wink have to call people out, while the real Mega fighters usually have the fans demand fights

 

That's right but Hopkins had the right to call for the fights he wanted, as a 43 year old he was at least active and looking to make some fights. Even after his recent loss he's looking for more fights and is staying active. Winky is doing none of that which is why he doesn't have the right to demand megafights or huge paydays.

 

Your right about Hop, I'm just not a big fan. But I respect him alot and the only thing that got me was the white boy comment. I'm black but it wasn't racist to me but more of being desperate to get the fight. I just don't likretthat kind of **** :good

Well he is bald head and white :rofl But on a serious note when Hagler beat the guy who he won the Middle Weight Championship from the guy told Marvin the samething. But that is out the history books. I just thought it was a stupid way to promote a fight. It also backfired on Hop. No sellout, plus he lost, ad people really found out how boring he is. Also people like me went to the Jay-z/Mary J. Blige concert instead. But I would go see Jones or Pav vs Cal in a minute

 

No one likes that kind of stuff but Hopkins' plan was obvious, he's trying to sell tickets(and for good reason, who the hell knows Joe Calzaghe?) and attract more fans to tune in. Really doubt he's racist, his boss after all is DLH and he's white, Hopkins is too smart to really mean that. He did the same for the Trinidad fight to get his self on the picture and it worked pretty well, don't think he's racist towards Puerto Ricans either
