    DeGale was loudly booed by the crowd in Birmingham and warned by the referee for illegal punching, notable a very amateurish backhand jab.
    Degale carried his gold medal to ring prompting comparasions with pro wrestler Kurt Angle (such comparasions are ridiculous, it is well known that Angle would defeat James with an angle slam possibly after Darren Sutherland has hit James with a steel chair.
    The consensus of boxing fans is that James has a lot of work to do and had the least impressive debut of the Beijing Olympians so far.
    DeGale defended himself in the post fight interview saying it was a learning curve and looked for his promoter to back him up, however no support was forthcoming and Frank Warren looked disappointed (as would I be had I paid DeGales signing on fee.) After all the other Olympians overcame similar opponent in impressive fashion James seemed to want to pat his opponent on the head in a manner reminiscent of homosexual mating rituals.
    James is campaigning at supermiddle weight as is fellow UK olympian Tony Jefferies who made his debut a day earlier. Going on their debut performances Jefferies would **** James.

    Does anyone know what a BLP violation is on wiki? Thats the reason for them removing my degale entries (BLP violations, some of them very distasteful indeed). I thought the degale fight was very distasteful indeed.
