    No way Thaxton gets a fight with Khan now. He was out of range & outgunned by Romanov throughout.

    Missed the whole fight but I saw the punch that opened a very deep cut above Thaxton's right eye, which stopped him from continuing...

    Thaxton retired after the fifth round.

    The one and a half rounds I saw...Thaxton didn't look effective or dangerous.

    What did you see?

    Thaxton only landed a couple of hits. Romanov totally outclassed him and was a joy to watch. Some lovely punches and movement.

    Really bad cut for Jono, wouldn't fancy waking up with that in the morning.

    I saw the highlights and Romanov looked very confident, relaxed and competent. He sure could punch. Khan would have a real fight on his hands; could he outbox Romanov? Could he take Romanov's heavy precise punches for 12 rounds?

    It was just like Romanov had him demoralised in round 1 and it stuck. Romanov a class above, Thaxton looked nervous circling him

    Thaxton fought like he used to when he was 20, swinging big punches like a novice. And he'd been boxing real nice recently... Very disappointed, I was looking forward to that fight.
    Romanov is slooow though.

    I didnt see the fight but Thaxton was very overrated all along. Any time he stepped up a bit, he came up short.

    Hmmm...fast enough to tag Khan though, right? Especially since he would be standing there, right in front of him...no?

    He wouldn't tag him enough to win the distance fight, but it'd be up to Khan's chin if it's a distance fight or not.
