i think this will b better fight than most expect with stewart boxing well off back foot but thaxton to win by late stoppage or by couple of points,think thaxton puts khan 2 sleep tho.

thats great news. although there'll probably be a month or so before purse bids and then a three month deadline to fight....so unless khan vacates he'll have to face jono by march next year. unless of course thaxton doesn't win tonight

yes thaxton toughed it out, but he lost the first four for me, and stewart aint on khans size or level.
provided khan wins tomorrow, next fight is definately thaxton

I've never though too much of Jon, but tonight comfirmed how mediocre he is.

 

stewart is taller than khan, but doesn't look as powerful.

i think warren might take heart after seeing this fight. thaxton can be awkward with lots of head movement but someone with khans speed should be able to find the target frequently.

and don't forget thaxton cuts so easily i believe he's sponsored by elastoplast

btw what did you think of the post-fight interview. he mentioned katsidis and romanov but not mention of khan. given the current world rankings i'd of thought he'd be desperate to fight and beat khan for the publicity and to shoot up the rankings.

 

I think the reason he mentioned those two is they have much better titles than Khan , the European and WBO interim are levels above commonwealth .
Plus he doesn't need to call out Khan anymore , he's his mandatory for the commonwealth .

Khan will probably look great tonight , and on the back of Jono's poor performance most people will go back to the Khan being far too good side of the argument that they were on before Limond dropped Khan .

It's only gonna take one shot............Thaxton ko Khan .
