If (and I know its an 'if') Thaxton connects then after what Limond did you'd have to think that Khan would be in big trouble?

'Technically' Kahn has a lot to work on. His speed lets him get away with with things at the level he is fighting at at the moment but he better smarten up soon...if they fight this year I'd take Thaxton by KO.

I've been saying it nerely a year now , Amir Khan's first loss is going to come against Jon Thaxton .

It's getting sooner and sooner to the time when Jon Thaxton shocks the World...........okay Willie Limond has probably taken a lot of the surprise element out of it but still .

MR KOOl speed isn't everything , defense , punch resistance and experience are all areas Khan seems to have trouble with .

Once Thaxton hits Khan he'll hurt him , and once he hurts him he'll finish him .

 

Thaxton could slip under Khan's straights like Willie did.

Does Jon still have that Ingle style?

jon murray can shut the hell up, 22 fights already and hes yet to face a fighter with more wins the losses, you'd be needing all the luck in the world against thaxton jhon boy.

 

Really because by my count he's fought 8 fighters with more wins than losses . Granted that he hasn't really stepped things up again since Mendoza(who looked real quality) but John did have a fight scheduled on Shobox against another unbeaten fighter till he got injured .

At this stage John would be soundly beaten by Thaxton but at the same time I genuinely believe he'd want the fight .

Not to mention that Murray has seemed very respectful in this article and hasn't run his mouth like Khan would should he have been the one offering to fight Thaxton .
