Out of the two, if you had to pick, what keeps Floyd going?

Obviously the money, otherwise he wouldn't be fighting. He could have stayed in retirement in 2008 (which lasted like a few months lol) with his undefeated record.

Not that I think money is the ONLY reason he fights. You see it happen all the time, fighters get addicted. The limelight, the rush. Sugar Ray Leonard said there's no feeling like being centerstage at a big fight with all the attention on you.

And so many of these fighters have been fighting since they were young kids, it's what they know best, it's obviously hard to just give it up and stop

Money keeps him fighting. But he loves his zero loss record and who can blame him.

Being undefeated is overrated. There are plenty of all time greats who lossed and came back and gained respect with great performances, like lennox, ali, ect.

He could retire before this fight and live comfortably till he's at least 40.

After this trilogy with Manny, even with 3 Ls by KO, he'll have enough $$$ to survive til he's 45.

    Of course it's about money.:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

That's the problem. He's living a billionaire lifestyle and the guys a millionaire. Worst thing he can do is get married. I don't even think pre-nups guarantee anything as i'm sure some have got money even though they signed it.

I think marrying a good woman who goes to a good church and surrounds herself with good people is one of two ways for him to survive retirement.

But a good woman who's like I described wouldnt give him the time of day right now, b/c of his lifestyle, so he'll have to settle for someone like Rihanna or Brittany Spears to keep him afloat when he goes broke.

Maybe he can get lucky and Beyonce will dump JayZ for ****ing their money away fighting Al GAYMAN, and she can get Floyd to turn into a real man and settle down.:think

If wanted to marry a good woman he should have done it before he filthy rich. Now the possibility to find a good woman who isn't with him just for the money is near impossible. These golddiggers know how put on that choir girl act while at the same time they'll give you the best head you've ever gotten. And right when you think you got THE ONE, it turns into another Ms. Jackson. I hope Floyd is smart to realize that but somehow I doubt it.

Nah.....there's still good ones out there.

And they'll twist his ear when he plays the role. Maybe he'll change. Hell, I did.:think

Mayweather is not the persona he is without the "0".

Just add one official loss to his record, and his career is average to good at best.

Ugh, Floyd's whole facade is predicated on his Zero. The money and the lifestyle follows behind the Zero. You cannot literally call yourself the TBE if you have a loss now can you?

    The money keeps him going.

The 0 keeps him away from Britain's finest such as Brook, Khan and Gavin. :nod

5 yrs after his last fight Floyd will either be on skid row penniless or deceased. If he's defeated and loses that 0, that's really bogus, he'll do a Hamed and self implode. Hope for his sake it doesn't happen but that's how I see it
